Lorena Simmel
Lorena Simmel, born in Fribourg (CH) in 1988, writes novels and poetry. She studied Creative Writing and European Literatures in Biel/Bienne, Berlin and Warsaw. Her debut novel »Ferymont« (Verbrecher Verlag) was awarded the Robert Walser Prize 2024. In the same year, she received the literary prize Das zweite Buch from the Marianne and Curt Dienemann Foundation for the manuscript for her poetry collection »Die Fuchsjungen« (tr. Fox Cubs). She lives and works in Berlin.
